Soon he is the centre of their worlds, their ultimate fantasy, and the main player and pawn in their sexual games.

Confusions is a set of five interlinked one act plays: Mother Figure, Drinking Companion, Between Mouthfuls, Gosforth's Fete and A Talk in the Park. Each play deals with human eccentricities and the human dilemma of loneliness; a mother unable to escape baby talk, a disastrous fete, an unsuccessful seduction attempt, a fraught dinner encounter and the final play sums it all up on a park bench.

Melvin Burgess' famous book about runaways and drugs is brought to life in John Retallack's great play. Tar loves Gemma but Gemma wants to fly. It's a fantastic journey until she flies too close to the sun.....
