Droylsden Little Theatre

Welcome to our theatre!

A warm welcome to the Droylsden Little Theatre website. Here you can get a real feel for what our theatre is about and how we all pitch in to create an excellent ambience on both a social and creative level. We have a beautiful auditorium and a brand new stylish bar at DLT dedicated to Keith Johnson, one of our loved and trusted members who passed away. He contributed a great deal to our theatre and made DLT what it is today with a great atmosphere. In fact many would say its like one big happy family!

If you are interested in joining our theatre, you will find all the information you need on our brand new website to help you make your decision. Browse the past production photos to see the work that goes into each of our productions and the camaraderie to boot. Visit the membership page to join or contact the membership secretary for more details. Our current and valued members will enjoy a trip down memory lane through the pictures and newspaper articles from past productions. Season ticket holders and customers can keep up to date on current theatre news and the DLT upcoming productions. This will ensure you dont miss out on our award winning productions or the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones!

The good news for the smokers amongst you is that our remote control awning has been installed in front of the main entrance, and it now provides much needed shelter from the cruel winter elements. More improvements (including heating and furniture) will be made to this area as we progress into the season, so thanks for your patience. We have received many positive comments about the smoking ban from our patrons, and the bar is definately much pleasanter for it, so why not stay after the show and enjoy a drink at DLT?

Finally, please can all members and visitors to the theatre remember to park their cars considerately? There is a car park just off Market St which can be used outside of Medlock Primary School hours, and our own car park just off Castle Close. We don't want to upset our lovely neighbours.
