Welcome to Droylsden Little Theatre
A warm welcome to the Droylsden Little Theatre website. Here you can get a real feel for what our theatre is about and how we all pitch in to create an excellent ambience on both a social and creative level. We have a beautiful auditorium and a recently extended stylish bar at D.L.T. dedicated to Keith Johnson, one of our loved and trusted members who passed away. He contributed a great deal to our theatre and made D.L.T. what it is today with a great atmosphere. In fact many would say it’s like one big happy family!
If you are interested in joining our theatre, you will find all the information you need on our website to help you make your decision. Browse the past production photos to see the work that goes into each of our productions and the camaraderie to boot. Visit the membership page to join or contact the membership secretary for more details. Our current and valued members will enjoy a trip down memory lane through the pictures and newspaper articles from past productions. Season ticket holders and customers can keep up to date on current theatre news and the DLT upcoming productions. This will ensure you don’t miss out on our award winning productions or the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones!
The disabled lift
Good news! After a long and at times frustrating process the disabled lift has finally been installed and is now in use. The lift can be used by anyone that has trouble with the stairs so please spread the word.
Finally, please can all members and visitors to the theatre remember to park their cars considerately? There is a car park just off Market St which can be used outside of Moorside Primary School hours, and our own car park just off Castle Close. We don’t want to upset our lovely neighbours.

- We would like to encourage you to wear a mask whilst moving around the building.
- Hand sanitiser will be available around the building.
- Avoid standing at the bar and ticket office once you have been served.
- The auditorium will be open from 7pm to reduce the amount of people standing in the bar area.
